Hi! I'm Akira Kamada.

I will guide you!

Description of this tour

Kamakura is a place fortified by nature; the mountains on three sides and the sea on the fourth side. In 1192, Minamotono Yoritomo established the shogunate. During Kamakura period (1192~1333), the military regimes of samurai warrior were established. Kamakura society exalted loyalty, honor, and frugality to inspire bushido (the Way of the Warrior). Many Zen temples temples were built expecting peaceful mind and enlightenment. I will guide you several key spots such as Zen tmples, Kotokuin (the Great Budda statue), and Tsuruoka Hachimangu with comment on historical background.

My motto is to explain sightseeing spots and history clearly sometimes with joking. I will guide customers from hotel in Tokyo to target places by train, subway and/or bus. Then I will guide them to several main places and will return to hotel in the evening or night depending upon request. I will do my best to give some unforgettable memory of each place such as very nice view, hisotical statue, national treasure, and/or Japanese style sweets... My main places are Kamakura, Hakone, Mr.Fuji (Ice cave, Kachikachi Yama..) and Tokyo (Sensoji, Water cruise, Hamarikyu, Fish market, Imperial palace...).
