Hi! I'm Takashi Ohno.

I will guide you!

Description of this tour

The Meiji Jingu Shrine is the most important and popular Shinto shrine in Tokyo.

In this tour you can visit the iconic Meiji Jingu Shrine in the center of Tokyo.
The shrine was built in dedication to Emperor Meiji and his wife Empress Shōken in 1920. The shrine is located in a forest that covers an area of 730,000 m2, and the grounds of the shrine were planted with over 100,000 trees of 365 different species. You’ll probably be able to feel "a mystical serenity" in a forest while you make your way to the main shrine.

Hello, all foreign tourists.
I’m Takashi, a certified guide interpreter.
I’ve practiced guiding through volunteer guides at various places such as the Imperial Palace, Meiji Jingu Shrine, Asakusa, etc. in spare time from my main job since 2013 when I got the license of the guide interpreter.
However, with my retirement from main job, I can fully dedicate my time to English expert guide.
It’s been my dream to communicate with foreigners since childhood.
Therefor I've been developing my English proficiency for a long time by listening to English conversation radio programs.
I would like to take advantage of this opportunity and do my best for you.
