Hi! I'm Yoshiko Miyazaki.

I will guide you!

Description of this tour

Akasaka Palace provide accommodation for state and official guests of the Japanese government. We will see main building and main garden. This is a rare chance to see the palace which is currently in use. The building itself is the only neo-Baroque European-style in Japan. But you will see Japanese motifs in its elaborate works. With its splendid appearance, its gorgeous and luxurious interior decorations will make you astonished. In the main garden you can buy original souvenirs and have a rest while viewing the Palace in front.
Next you will enjoy strolling along the Japanese garden with more than 400 years history. In a tea ceremony room you will drink Matcha with a Japanese sweet.

Hello!
I was born in Shiga next to Kyoto and now live in Yokohama, which is located between Tokyo and Kamakura, with my family and two cats. When l was a university student I went to US as a member of goodwill envoy and there I had got unforgettable experiences with local people. Helping my host mother get dressed in kimono was one of them. These experiences made me think to become a guide in the long run.
I had got National Guide Certificate in 2014. Since then I always tried to make guests satisfied and hope they go back to their countries with good memories.
