Hi! I'm Hiroyuki Iwai.

I will guide you!

Description of this tour

Japan has a long history. Even only in Tokyo, the samurai government, Tokugawa shogunate established Edo(now Tokyo) in 1603. In 1868, Japan started modernization and westernization. Through this tour, you learn more about Japan's history and cultural background. On the other hand, for the future, Tokyo has been developed and sophisticated toward the 2020 Olympic Games. You also see what it is and a contrast between tradition and modernity. While walking and seeing the sights, I will talk to you about Tokyo now and then and answer your question. I hope that this tour will make you have deeper understanding of Japan and Tokyo.

I am a 60 year old male national licensed English tour guide. I worked for a trading company for 35 years. Since my office worker's days, I have believed a tour guide is a wonderful and significant profession because I accompany tourists from overseas and help them navigate and understand Japan. That is why I successfully acquired the qualification of its national license two years ago. I am very happy when I accompany customers and conduct tours.
