Aokigahara , "the Sea of Trees", stretches over the northwest base of Mt. Fuji. As a certified nature guide, I give you interesting and instructive information about the Aokigahara forest! You see, feel and experience amazing natural beauty of the Aokigahara forest. It's a distinctive forest in that trees have densely grown over the lava plateau. Exploration of the forest includes entering into a unique lava cave called "Saiko Bat Cave" It's a habitat of precious bats especially during the winter. The highlights of the cave are distinctive formations of lava and its structure.
It's time for you to explore into the dense woods with your five senses fully used!! The eco system and unusual vegetation of the forest are informed along the way to the lakeside which offers a stunning view of Mt. Fuji if the weather permits. The final destination is "Ryugu Lava Cave".
