Hi! I'm WOW U Tour.

I will guide you!

Description of this tour

SKY TREK sightseeing flight's collaboration plan!
The flight in this tour is a SKY TREK Scenic Flight.

We start from Kobe city and take an excursion to Osaka. You can enjoy touring around a variety of sight seeing points from the sky such as Osaka castle and the biggest ancient burial mound in Japan. We also offer you a trip to see all the sites of “kobe-nadagogo-sake-breweries” before or after the sightseeing flight. They are known breweries with a long history in Hyogo prefecture. Nadagogo consists of five areas, Nishi-Go, Mikage-Go, Uozaki-Go, Nishinomiya-Go and Imazu-Go. We will pick out some of them and guide you.
In these areas, there are about 26 different breweries including some of the most well-known sake brewers. It is the best location for touring sake breweries on foot since there are a lot of breweries in a small area, and easily accessible from Sannomiya and Shinkobe.
This tour is perfect if you want to know more about sake. We will provide you with a knowledge of sake, what kind of types there are and the reason why we have this many breweries in Kobe after the tour.

※The displayed price is for reference only. Please inquire for details.

We will find a professional Japanese guide for you when you send us a message. They will work together with you to customize the tour according to your preferences and budget.

Sawanotsuru Museum

“Old sake brewery”, Sawanotsuru Museum opened in November, 1978, with the goal of communicating the history of sake brewing to the present generation. The original building of the old sake brewery is now used as a library.

In 1980, it was designated as an important tangible folk cultural property of Hyogo prefecture together with valuable sake making tools, and it has been a popular spot for many visitors. Unfortunately, the building was completely destroyed by the Great Hanshin Awaji Earthquake in January, 1995. It took three years and seven months to reconstruct and restore it in March,1999. It plays an important part in transmitting the tradition of Nadazake, developed by the wisdom of ancestors and the blessings of nature.
Also, you can enjoy raw unprocessed sake for free!

05:00 PM
SHU-SHIN-KAN (Fukuju)

At Kobe SHU-SHIN-KAN, all the sake made there is made from local Hyogo prefecture grown rice.
The water used to prepare the sake is Miyamizu, freshwater that is sourced from the mountain rivers of Rokko. It is known as the best water for sake brewing.
Thirteen generations of the family have worked hard to safeguard its reputation as “fukuju”, the brewery sticks to traditional hand made process it has used since the establishment of SHU-SHIN-KAN in 1751.
All the process of koji production is done by hand.
It is a long-established rule that has been handed down at the sake brewery of Kobe SHU-SHIN-KAN for more than 200 years.
We stick to this good technique of sake brewing hoping to send Japanese sake and its culture’s wonderfulness out to all over the world and pass them down to the next generation.
